I think we got the Tractor supply special, was supposed to be an Easter Egger, but we think it’s a Bielefelder? What does the hive think? Thanks for the help.

I think she probably is an Easter Egger.

Is she laying eggs? Green or blue eggs would definitely mean she is an Easter Egger. Brown or white eggs could still be from an Easter Egger, but would be more likely from other breeds.

Bielefelders have white barring across their other colors, and I don't see that on her, so I think probably not Bielefelder.

OK well thank you for the reply, She hasn’t started laying just yet. I think we are a week or two away, I guess that would be a good way to find out. Thanks again for the help and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

The bird in the front of that photo DOES look like a Bielefelder. I see the white barring pretty clearly.

I would have said that bird is not the same as the one in the first photo

If they are the same bird, those two photos are a great example of how angles and lighting can make the same bird look quite different!
