Breed?

I ordered these babies from Hoovers Hatchery as Easter Eggers. They are about 6 weeks old now. I believe the black/grey one is actually a sapphire gem? Any clues to any of them?

They likely all are Easter Eggers. Easter Eggers, as hybrids of a blue egg-laying breed and a brown egg-laying breed, can vary widely in appearance. It depends on what the cross was that produced the Easter Egger, the middle one for example is clearly Cream Legbar-based.

Sapphire, Legbar, and a possible Bluebell? EE just means "mixed breed that probably makes green eggs" in most hatcheries.

1st one appears to be a female sapphire gem, second one is a cream legbar or an olive egger (not sure if they are the same? lol), and the third looks like an isa brown...Also considering that it is hoover's and SG's are trademarked by them and all and they are known for their SG's.

I suspect the first may be a Sapphire Gem but since Hoover's has so many lines of eggers, I wouldn't rule it out yet
