Hi there, I am firing up my Maxi 2 eco, And the room temp is around 16.5c (its the end of winter) and My incubator wont hold 37.5c Very well and keeps dipping down to 31.4 never done this before any ideas?

Have you checked it with another thermometer? The problem could be with the thermometer, rather than the incubator temperature.

Can you add some kind of insulation? Sitting it on top of something like a blanket might help it hold heat a little better (so it's not losing heat as much heat through the plastic of the bottom.)

I can't think of any good way to insulate the top (trying to put a blanket over the top might cause trouble, because there seem to be several pinhole-sized air vents in various places, and you don't want to block them.)

I agree with @casportpony that a warmer room will probably be the best choice, if it cannot hold its heat in a room that cool. You may be able to warm just that room, or move it to a room that stays warmer, or you may have to wait a bit longer until the weather (and the house) get a bit warmer.
