Do a good percentage of Black Jersey Giants go broody, or is it rare? When they do are they fairly successful at hatching out live chicks? I heard somewhere that they may be to heavy and can break the eggs, or mash the chicks as they try to hatch.

I have read that Jersey Giants dont go broody often, but when they do they have a chance(but not as high of a chance as Brahmas) of breaking the eggs. When the eggs hatch they tend to be amazing mothers.
