Good Morning All.
I have a few hens in my flock of 13 going broody, one has been going broody 3rd time in this last few months. I love to have more chickens, but I can not manage more than what I already have, still I want to see those fluffy little feet in my garden.

It takes me a bit over an hour to do my chicken tasks in the morning, that is just let them out, clean their coop, put out feed, water and pick up morning poops.

I have 1 mother hen and 1 chick as the 2 eggs I gave her, only 1 fertiled.
What is it about chicken that the more I have the more I want? Is it their fluffy butt, their soft shinny feather, the clucking sound they made, or just because they follow me around? I want more chickens, but I can not manage it anymore than what I already have. I am really addicted to raising chickens, and I believe there should be a chicken addiction anonymous group.:)

Chickens are an addiction, and a gateway drug. I now have geese, ducks, and turkeys, on top of about a 100 chickens give or take. It's a nice hobby that is always changing, and growing. :)

Oh, it an addiction like drug for certain. I started with just 6 ISA Brown, then 1 then 2 heritage breeds, then I move on to bantam and each day I looking for more chickens to add to my flock. My broody hens are fueling my addiction. My excuses are that I want them to experience motherhood, but really it is just me wanting more chickens.

Broody hens also allow you to add them more easily. Oops, that hen accidentally hatched some chicks. Maybe if it took more than 3 weeks to make more. :)
