Her skin looks a bit try. :hmm Is she staying hydrated? It might be a bit cold, too.

Tagging peeps who can help more than I can;

Shes been really broody so shes not drinking quite as much as normal. Its 60°F where I'm at right now so I dont think it's the cold, thank you through. Her face does seem to be dry. I'm out at the moment but do you think I should try to use a moist rag to help when I get back home?

Yes you can :) or maybe apply a bit of Vaseline, not too much though

The eye looks a bit swollen too, it's hard to tell. Looks like she has a small nick in the corner of the eye.
Try flushing the eye with saline, then apply a ophthalmic ointment like Terramycin or Vetericyn eye gel. Look to see if there is any debris in the eye like a feather, bedding or pus.
Her face is dry, you can put a very thin layer of coconut oil on the skin.

Is she coming off the nest to eat/drink and poop? I would also check her closely for lice/mites while you are treating the eye.

How long had she been broody before you put eggs under her? I would place a small bit of egg and another tin of water or runny wet chick feed to get some fluids and food into her. I use tuna or cat food cans so they will fit in the nest, and sometimes you have to get their attention if they are in a trance. Check her for lice and mites around her vent as well.

I put coconut oil on her face and dropped some saline on her eye and she opened it right up. Shes looking around like normal, it doesnt seem to be irritated at all. I think it was just pretty dry. I went ahead and checked all over for mites and I didnt see any. I went ahead and gave her a dust bath in DE just in case. I put nutra drench in her water since has been iffy with food as well. I thought she could use the extra vitamins .
