Brugse Vechter aka Bruges Fighter Thread

I hope you're right!!! I don't need another rooster 😄
Here is a partridge male for comparison. (Kind of at an ‘ugly’ stage)

I have a coop full of partridge chanteclers, BBRs, don't know if there's a difference, chanteclers might carry the mahogany gene, can't remember. But this bird looks nothing like my partridge chanteclers, totally different colors. I brought it inside to take a few photos, it was less than cooperative. Interior kitchen lighting, no flash. Remodeling kitchen at the moment...lol, ignore.
7 weeks old. All the feathers on this bird have a blue base except for the head and neck, which is why I'm thinking blue partridge. Blue gold might be better description. There is a lot of gold ie orange across the back/shoulders, very metallic - like copper, wings have more yellow/buff. It just seems like too much color for a female. Thoughts? I don't believe this chick is a standard color. I think there are a lot of genes at play. There is some partridge patterning, but it's neither gold nor silver, might have both = golden/yellow partridge, and this chick hatched yellow with no chipmunk pattern so something to keep in mind. Nevertheless , we are just beginning to see juvenile molt, so I will definitely know more in in the next month.@NatJ can you help decipher what color/pattern or combination thereof is expressed here? TIA

Any body in North Fl. or South Ga. close to Valdosta Ga that has Bruges Fighter Chicks or Bruges Fighter crossed with American Game? Is It hard to get a Bruges Fighter to breed American Games
