Here are my two BO chicks. They are 4 weeks old. I know it's still too early to tell but I thought I saw some pinking on one of the combs of Ariel. They were purchases from a farm with a 90% sexing rate for pullets so they are suppose to be female, but you never know.

Pics in the next post.

Ariel. I think the comb is getting pinker. But i guess it's really faint.

Belle. She's smaller and the comb isn't as defined at all.

#3 is Ariel. Just a little bit older. I have an even newer picture that shows more of the waddle development. The waddles are coming in really fast with Ariel.

Oh sorry! I couldn't see the waddles in the first pic.

Male or Female? Around 3 1/2 months old.....
Are you saying we will know for sure either way around 3 1/2 months old?

Currently they are only 1 month old. So i guess by August. That's about when they start either laying or crowing right?

Does anyone know when the spurs come in? Wouldn't that be a pretty telling sign too?

I actually am really new to this site and I was trying to post a picture with the male or female caption attached! Sorry! I'm a new chicken lady myself. I hope you get the answers you're looking for!
