Here are the lil peepers! The youngest one is two weeks old today, she is an Austra-white, but my buffs are more like 16 days old.

They were made to go around the head and tie at the back. If they are small enough, (right size) they stay on. KInd of tricky to GET them on, lol, cause they shake their little heads!!

She got her first proper egg out

In the beginning some eggs will not have a shell or they will be small and slowly get larger. 2 of my hens laid without a shell a few times they had layer crumble and oyster shell. Takes 4 weeks to regulate

I have 4 buffs and 3 salmon faverolle hens I love my buffs they lay beautiful brown eggs one lays a mauve colored egg. They are quiet easy tempered and love to hang out when I'm outside. I will always keep them in my flock

Haha I love the way they're just looking at you like "hey! What do you think you're doing on our grass".

yeh my buffs love to follow around and be patted but still laying bloody shell-less eggs even after changing their diet.

Today I found them wallowing around in the dirt nearly upside down and when I show up they looked at me like "

This is awkward" haha
