Buff Splash Silkie Pic included

I hope you don't mind if I add a pic of the chick. I'd have to check the calender, but I think she's 3-ish mo old.

I really didn't know what to call her. She hatched silver (and I was expecting a regular 'blue splash', but quite early she got some barring on her wings (??) and then all these 'rusty patches'.

If she'd be useful in your breeding, you'd be welcome to her (headed toward Aiken, SC anytime?) .
I got an equally nice blue cockerel from the hatch and that was what I needed.

Wow, she would be perfect. Looks so similar to the young one I have. If i know of any one coming this way from that direction I will get them to help me out. If not maybe I could pay you to ship her when the weather cools.

Silkies look so cool, like sheep dog chickens, I wanted silkies but I needed full sized so my cat won't try to go hunting with them.

I have something very similar coming out. The hen was a buff and the rooster was a blue splash
