I am not a painter. Nor an artist. And I definitely did not stay at a holiday inn express last night.

I also installed an in use box on the back of my office, so I can plug an extension cord in for the bucket heater.

What are the temps there, night and day, since you started painting?
Its in the 40s. Its going to take a few days for the paint to fully dry.

GFCI or AFCI?

What is the padlock for?

Neither GFCI or AFCI. Its on the same circuit as my AC and you can't put it on a GFCI. I'll be picking up an inline GFCI for the extension cord to the coop.

The padlock is so someone doesn't steal my full 100lb tank of propane.

Inline GFCI purchased. I have one that I saved from an old pool pump but it wouldn't fit in the in-use box because its the style where its built into the plug.

I would have put a GFCI outlet in that box, but 3 12-2 romex come into that box and there wasn't enough room to get all of those connected together and put in an outlet if I'd used the big GFCI outlet because they take up more of the box.

Thats fed from a 20amp breaker on the sub panel in my office It just powers some LED lights and then my 9000 BTU mini split which uses 9 amps max according to the sticker on it. So a 250 watt bucket heater should be fine to add to the circuit without any issues. I might also put a wifi camera out there too.

This is my duck hut I built by myself since the hubby is always working. It's a repurposed swimming pool frame, repurposed skids, recycled metal roofing we got for free 😃 all I've had to buy so far is the screws, sheeting screws, hinges and L brackets to sturdy the door. The large logs on the bottom came from the county putting in a new guardrail we got like 30+ of them. I have the spot above the door yet to do and the last two pieces of roofing to do and it will finally be done. I've been working on it since the beginning of October.
