Bumble foot

Hello, I have a 3 year old Rhode Island Red. She recently got bumble foot. I watched a lot of videos about it. I have been soaking her feet a lot with epsom salt for about 20mins a day, and putting antibiotics with an elastic bandage to cover it up. I do try to put pressure on her feet so the scab can come out but it won’t. She’s been very normal eating, and drinking. Her poop is also normal. Is there any advice I can get to help the swelling go down, and get rid of her bumble foot?

Sometimes you have to squeeze the swollen spot quite a bit to get the pus plug out. I would try it again just after a soak. You also could try Sugardine or Prid dressings. Read post 4 here for more details:
