What do you guys think?

Update:
Today, I channeled my inner vet, and started pealing away her huge bumble, and did not see puss. However, I did not take it all off just the part that would come off. However I did not see any puss. Is that normal that the entire kernal does not bring out puss? If that makes sense.
Heres a pic,

*disclaimer, the toe is not as swollen as it looks in the pic.*

Her other foot, had a little bumble that I pealed off. I saw some white stuff, what I thought was puss, but when I massaged and pulled, nothing came. Normal?

Its the lil yellow thing above the big one.

On another note... I found this on her foot after her soak, is this a body worm, worm or centipede?

Her poops are very normal and big.
Thanks! 🙏

If the bumble doesn't have pus under it that's been normal for us but then we've never had swollen bumbles cuz of catching it early. & yes, don't force a scab off. I will work the edge of a scab to help the loosening but never pull. That is so encouraging that you have patience to wait on the healing process.

As for that worm? Maybe these will help to identify if thats a poop-type worm?

Thanks! Ill look into the articles. So I dont have to do anything? The swelling wont go down without the puss removed right?

Again, I never dealt w/puss or swelling so I'm not knowledgeable on that point. I wish I was more help?

Did you notice any difference or progress using Prid?

Because we catch the bumble when its small, dark & flat w/no swelling we treat right away w/just warm Epsom soaks & triple antibiotic pads wrapped w/ Vetwrap its so easy. But letting a bumble get to the swelling/pus stage was never an issue w/us.

The first case of a hen's bumble must've been bad for our vet to do surgery but the 2nd hen must not have been bad as the vet sent us home w/instructions to treat it ourselves. Saves a lot of $$ to learn how to catch bumble early to make treatment easier.

Our vet grew up w/chickens & is comfortable when we bring in our birds. He checks a hen's mouth, eyes, ears, vent, keel, crop, & just knows instinctively what ails the bird & prescribes an appropriate med if needed. There was only a couple times he asked for poop samples but never a stressful blood drawing.

Another vet we went to years ago I had no confidence in who never checked the bird physically & just issued a bunch of expensive blood tests on a bird so ill that blood drawing would just stress even more an already stressed/ill bird. We walked out of THAT vet's ofc! He advertised dogs/cats/birds but he was on the younger side & I had the gut feeling he was going to use my hen as a guinea pig while issuing expensive lab tests. After going to a great vet it was easy to spot another one that really had no sympathy for our dear bird.
