Bump on toe, limping and bruised please help!

My cinnamon queen has been limping since last week. It originally wasn’t a serious limp, just walking a bit lame and had a bit of green discoloration between the side of her foot near her three toes but that only lasted for about 3 days with I assumed she was getting better. Although this morning i noticed she had this huge bump on her toe and it doesn’t look like bumblefoot to me but she is starting to get a serious limp now and applying little pressure on that leg compared to before and I’m not sure what that is and how to treat it. Does anyone know if she managed to fracture it somehow or what happened to her. And how to treat it please

There's probably nothing you can do for it. It will heal in time on its own. How high are your roosts above the ground and do they have a safe, open place to land? Other than making sure they're safe, there's not much more you can do.

They’re about 4 feet off the ground and they have space to land. Do you think I should drain the bump? It seemed like it was a bit yesterday

I wouldn't. If you stick a needle in there you'll be opening up a hole where all kinds of dirt and bacteria could get in, setting up a field for infection. How about soaking her feet in an Epsom salt bath for a bit? Is she limping? Does she act uncomfortable, is she not getting up on the roost? That might give her some relief, but if she's scratching, preening, eating and otherwise behaving normally it might be bothering you more than it is her. Still, a nice warm soak won't hurt and might help. Chickens bruise green so that's what you saw. The soreness should resolve in a few days, usually a bruise feels its worst 3 to 5 days after the injury then starts feeling better.

Could you get a picture of the bottom of the foot and toe? It looks to me a bumblefoot between the toes and may be on the footpad as well. Does it feel hard, soft, or fleshy?

No need to defer. We all give advice here, and try to be helpful, and hopefully we have some experience with what the poster needs. I don’t always have experience or know answers. I’m sure that you have plenty of experience, and read a lot of posts here. I have dealt with bumblefoot between and on top of toes, but it also had a scab on the bottom of the footpad. I used to do surgery instaed of just soaking. I had to lance the top and scab on the bottom. The top bump had some thinner pus, and the bottom of the footpad had a thicker pus plug. But this lesion could be an injury or cyst, and seeing the bottom of the foot may give a better idea.

Here are some more photos of her injury, it didn’t feel like rock hard it’s a bit soft but I didn’t apply much pressure to it because I didn’t want to cause her more pain

So it was a bumblefoot, I was able to remove the core and the puss (and thought all that liquid in that bump of hers ) and I bandaged her up until two days afterwards I was going to change her bandages until I saw that it filled back up but now it’s all purple! What should I do? Drain it once more?
