I am so happy you are okay physically. Mentally I be you are livid. I just don't get it, if they are going to break in why not just stop there, why do they have to do damage.. someone said a waste of air -- yep they are... good luck getting them and I hope justice is served.

If law enforcement had a chopper in the air then they have a substantial investment in this hunt. The perps will probably report the vehicle "stolen" so I hope their faces are burned into your memory. Either way with the investment in the hunt and leaving a vehicle for evidence and hopefully fingerprints from inside the house (did you notice if they were wearing gloves?)....the chumps are looking at doing some time.

Remember, whether you intended to eat them or not, those eggs could have been hatching eggs and when you figure the price for a dozen hatching eggs and the freight involved there were several dollars worth that they destroyed.

Our famly's house was burglarized during the first gulf war and my 6 year old daughter sliced her foot open on some of the broken glass...we never caught the low-lifes, but for the trauma it caused my daughter I would have had to pray greatly for mercy to be in my heart if I had caught them. Besides the loss of your property it's a very ugly feeling, I sympathize with you. Time will help, but you'll always be just a little bit wary of anything out of the norm...just the way it is.<sigh> But, it will get better.

That is Crazy!!! I am so glad they ran, and that you are ok, your things can be replaced but you can not be.

I hope when caught the cops ask why they broke all of your eggs as that is just strange.

OOh, those sick bast#$ds!! I would feel SO violated! UGH... how awful. So sorry that happend to you! I hope you get your stuff back AND they catch those creeps!
It also happend to my DH parents house last year when they were all gone to my husbands grandfathers funeral.. they really got cleaned out... and never got a thing back..

these sickos were reading the obituaries and finding out where families lived..and then they were robbing peoples houses while the family was at the funerals... It was a family deal..i think the father and 2 kids were doing it... all of them druggies.. sick..sick..sick..

Glad you're OK. I'm surprised they still look "under the mattress" ?! We were robbed years ago and it takes a long time to feel safe in your own home again. Too bad we can't just shoot to kill when someone enters your home. Nowadays they'd lock YOU up for it!
