I realy admire Burmese bantams I don't have none ,but id like to see yours I think there rare in the usa though ill get some pics off the internet to get this thread started good.

We had (past tense) some Cochin/Silkie/Leghorn/Breda mixes that we were breeding to look like the Burmese Bantams. They didn't have dumpy legs, but they did have the single comb, crest, heavily feathers feet, etc.

You won't find any of these in the Georgia. There are few in the UK but they are extremely rare. I don't thing anyone of them exist in the USA.

Here is Xinnie. One of our Brumese Hen Recreation project birds. She is 50% Blue Breda, 25% white Leghorn, 12.5% Blue Cochin, and 12.5% Blue Silkie. They needed a lot of work (yellow beaks, yellow skin,larger feet feathering and vulture Hocks, etc.) but it was a start.
