I have to butcher some embden and toulouse geese tomorrow, and they are big, so i plan on shooting them first, and then bleeding them. My gun of choice would be a Powerline 35, loaded with a Crosman Destroyer or Gamo Redfire. I have used this gun and ammo to put down a old chicken, the gun shoots at 850 to 900 feet per second. Would this work? thanks

Probably would on a solid brain shot. Otherwise, it would be anemic for a lung shot. I use airguns as my primary hunting tools. I hunt wild turkey with mine, which would be comparable to geese. I kill them on wing shots, but I’m using a .25 and heavy bullets or pellets. A .177 will kill a turkey, but it needs to be a brain shot. So I’d say the same it true of a goose.
