Button/king/chinese quail taming tips?

Does anyone have any tips on taming button quail? I know they are harder to tame than coturnix.

I really want button quail, the only thing stopping me is taming. I’m worried I’ll end up with a bunch of untamed nutty quail.

I can definitely deal with nutty little furry cannonballs, but definitely not untamed nutty little furry cannonballs.

Handle them all. the. time. Start from the moment they hatch. Put your hand in with them and encourage them to snuggle beneath it. As they grow into adults, offer them treats by hand. Don't go overboard with the treats, though. Treats should be no more than 10% of their diet.

It will take a lot of time every single day. If you are content with calm in your presence, you can just keep them in a place where you are a lot and don't be shy about opening their cage/pen and reaching in for food, water, etc. They get used to your presence.
