Help! To many male button quail

Can I do that even if they can hear the females?
From my own experience I wouldn't reccomend it since it may be too stressful on the single males being able to hear the hens but not being able to locate them.

My own bachelors went bananas every time a female made any noise which led to a lot of chasing and obsessively trying to mount the other males. After I moved them to their own room everything calmed down.

Do you have any pics of the 2 you don't know the sex of?

Hello I currently have 10 button quail in which, 5 are male and only 3 are female and 2 that I don't know what gender they are yet. Does anyone know what I can do with the extra males beside giving them away?
Can i have more than one male in each cage?
I hatched 6 males and 1 female, so I let 5 of my male quail go out on the hillside and I see all of them often!!! it's so great!!

Oh, please don't do that again. If you're in the US, at least, that's illegal, and depending on the species a likely death sentence.

Button quail are native to SE Asia, and don't do well in cold, coturnix quail, while they do well with cold, don't have much survival instinct and usually become prey.

I live on a farm with restricted enclosure that like a sanctuary the quail are completely safe. The other quail are the ones in the coop. I put trackers on the other quail cause it's over 200 acres of land therfore it's not illegal! don't worry! Also, the quail I own are California Quail and I leave food out for them and make sure they have water! 😂 don't worry I don't do quail abuse! most of my quail are rescued from a disability center!
