The last couple were sorta rough because I was catching up and trying to fit them both on the same page after making a positively huge long-tailed flycatcher drawing but page 2 is finished

Vagrant stumped me. I don't know much about migrating bird species. I'm going to try catching up tonight with some sketches.

11. Flycatcher. Leaden Flycatcher.

12. Nest. Quaker/Monk parakeet nest.

"Swifts and Swallows"
Whiskered Treeswift." These birds build tiny nests and sit on their babies. I also would have liked to draw one in flight to show off the lovely wing length but I don't have all the time in the world

Some drawings…I’m also super behind Midterms were today, so hopefully I’ll have a bit more time this coming week.
Corvid crew: I’ve always wanted to draw a Magpie in full flight.

Marsh: these little sparrows are so cute!

Vagrant. Last year there was an Eastern Bluebird that migrated with a bunch of Mountain Bluebirds, just a few miles from where I live. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to go see it, but birders around here were super excited.

Funny you say that, I would feel so lucky to see a mountain bluebird among all these easterns.
I have seen one once it Colorado but it was so beautiful I'd like to see one again.
