BYC Café

Howdy Kelsey :frow

This bunch tends to be a bit slow on weekends, we're kinda the week-day, pop in for a cup of coffee and chat for a bit crew.

Sounds like a nice assortment of animals you have! Hope you'll stick and visit with us.

Hi Kelsey :frow

I have a brother that lives over that way...in New Hampshire. Welcome aboard, it's an entertaining crew...just don't get Bert going!

Dogs were up again early this morning. Yesterday was pretty productive, got the power run to the garage, so the extension cord under my front door is gone! I consider that a major victory. DH dragged the road some more, I think it's as good as it's going to get until we have more gravel brought in. Moved the cedar posts from the field to where the chicken run will be, eventually. And started cutting up all the blow downs from winter. I made cream of broccoli soup and chicken salad sandwiches to feed the hungry masses (DH and dad). And some double chocolate chip cookies.

My cousin's cows are down from the barn this morning, heading over the river to our field on the other side. Let the games begin, our plott hound mix insists on barking at the cows until they head back to the barn...two 40s over! He is going to have to learn to live with them!:/

Off to church, a trip into town, and then wait not so patiently for GoT tonight!

Hi Kelsey!
Good morning everyone
We went to football last night, DH won tickets to the "Bush Light Party Area". So we figured we needed to leave the things with Grandma and Grandpa. We were wrong, there were as many kids in there as adults :/ I told DH I would rather remain in our seats from now on, not impressed. But it does mean I am sitting here with only my coffee taking my attention after a great nights sleep.
Hope everyone is well

Good morning all. Welcome, Kelsey.
We get fresh hive honey on our waffles this morning!

Well I feel a sleep on you....sorry...:/

Morning All! Welcome Kelsey!

Have a wonderful MHD! (mental health day) That is what I would call them anyway......
So the Wind..., obviously I don't mind it too much. I view it as its own entity, with its seasonal moods, and daily changes. There are lots of different kinds of wind up here, so at least that part is entertaining.
