Good morning, Cafe', and thanks for the coffee. Today makes it 31 days without rain. I've never seen things so dry.

We were running in the same rut as you, with 33 days until last night we finally got a decent shower. Not a lot but some relief.

1.5 inches of snow and 25F out there. Warming up into the 40's today, with sun, so it should all go away.

Good Morning Cafe!

Quiet, dark and a bit wet here in B.C., but it's another day in the office finishing some things that are due! No sun in the forecast for at least another week and a half, so I'm leaving to find some. Well, off to a conference, but it happens to be in a nice warm and sunny place, so I won't be complaining.

There's change blowing in for the weather. And I mean, BLOWING. I'll be surprised if there are any leaves left on the trees after this.

Which would be ok, actually. A lot of them are oak, and they take their sweet ol' time to come down. We're usually raking 2-3 times, and the last time will be well into November.

Yeppers. It's been windy(for us)up to 20mph today.
I heard what sounded like a large branch or trunk slowly cracking earlier, out in the woods cause I couldn't see anything near the house.
Now I've got the cringes.
