BYC Café

I got the preventative work done...the ACV, the pepper and garlic. It rain again last night, so this work is going to go on for a long while. I cleaned the rooster ears infection with 3% hydrogen peroxide as I read from other cases. I am going to find details about antibiotic to give him as one of his ears is swollen. I read somewhere that in hot weather do not give chicken apple cider vinegar, we are in a humidly hot weather, so I stopped ACV this morning. A whole lot of work that is harder to do when it is raining, muddy and humid. I need a big massive jumbo giant coffee.
Yes, it is important to give ACV for no longer than 3 days as it will interfere with the calcium uptake.

Did you check inside your sick roosters mouth for yellow/whitish plaque? Hopefully he will get better soon.

Now the forecast is calling for a whopping inch of snow on Thursday. BFD.

True but, certainly makes most of us think of the snow to come.

The still decreasing daylight hours stink, but be glad we don't live in Alaska where the sun will not rise at all until mid January.

Wet and warm(~60) here this morning, but the blue line has appeared in the 10 day.

Thanks, I will stop the ACV today. I looked into his mouth and I did not see anything in there. Before I put him to bed last night, I smelled his ears and they don't have that smelly smell, so I am hopeful that all that was gone.

Lunch out today, and a trip to Menards to spend some of the rebate coupon from the bathroom project.

Tomorrow should be... fun...

Chiropractor, then a Costco run, and then to the dentist. The very tips of my front upper incisors have some wear/pitting on the inside surface. So they're going to do something about that. Fill them... somehow? And even out the bottom edge.

I think I better eat lunch before the 1pm appointment, as I doubt I'll be able to bite or chew much of anything after. I'll plan on mushy oatmeal for dinner, if I'm hungry.
