After seeing the holiday traffic and weather predictions on the news, I am so glad we are not going anywhere for Thanksgiving. Especially to Pittsburgh.

Naive question. Do you have to rinse frozen veg before using it?

It is up to you.
I saw on cooking tv, they just throw frozen veg into whatever they were cooking straight from the bag taken out from the freezer.
Me, I soak them in water until they are defrosted or put them in boiling water.

Morning Coffee is such a joyous thing.
I wonder what human was like in the morning before coffee came along? A bit cranky or just not as happy

My chickens are taking turn going broody. When one goes broody, the rest of them starting to warm up to it and before long I have a few on and those broody girls are very cranky/aggressive, picking fight with everyone. It is all in a day work!

I am excited about the festive season with all it decoration and all the suggestive cooking on tv, I am planning what to cook for Christmas, but I never cook what I planed, never, not even once. We end up eating something else very simple basic because it is less work.
