Bella had me up at 4 but I didn't get out of bed until 4:30 and I still haven't fed her. She'd look like a beached whale if she got to eat as much as she wanted. Oh right. She DID look like a beached whale when I adopted her because her former owner, the super illustrious European Doberman breeder, permitted her to free feed on Purina One.

We tell Freya that if she ate as much as she wanted, she'd look like our friend's dog, Chloe, who is quite overweight. Freya looks at us like, well, duh! It's every dog's DREAM to be as fat as Chloe!

Good morning, cafe, We were also up before 4 AM with the dogs - ugh. Once up, there's no getting back to sleep no matter how tired. Coffee is going down quick today - making another pot for you'all.

Good morning and thanks for the hot coffee! Frost on the deck again.
20F with sun.
I got a call from S saying that MORF was raising 7734 in rehab and wanted to go home and he might call for a ride...LOL. I got him his shaver and changes of clothes from the ranch and met up with S so that she could drop them off to him. I got a call in the evening saying "Thank you!" from MORF and now he feels better about staying. I said that he should think of it as a vacation, 3 meals, all the good coffee, hot water on demand, fitness center...
I think they are doing some mental health therapy as well which is wonderful as he has been through a rough few years.
My plan for the day is to finish off the drift clear!
I am sure bothering the DH and the cat is on the list as well!

Good Morning.
I had 1 coffee at 5am today already, now I am having V8 vegetable juice mix with orange juice and water.

It is getting hot with this weather over here, so some cold drink feels really good.

Better late than never... Hubby and I got our updated Covid and flu shots. He was waffling a couple months ago. I asked him again, and he said ok.

He said he feels tired today, but not sure if it's the shots, or lack of sleep last night. So far, I have no complaints. We'll see if I get a sore arm tomorrow.

A thread was posted to Nextdoor about a mountain lion sighting on a camera on the next road over, less than a mile away. Until I see the video, I think it was a bobcat... But the girls will always be accompanied when going out to potty.
