BYC Member Interview - Canadian Wind

Awesome interview!
Nice to meet you @Canadian Wind, very interesting person; clearly we do not travel in the same (forum) circles.

Dare I ask if you ever found out if Muscovy duck tastes like beef?
Thank you!

I wouldn't say beef, per say, but it certainly is a different taste that our domestic duck. I like both, but I also like having all the fat from a regular duck. It's amazing to cook with, and so tasty!

Thank you, Chris, for doing this interview and sharing your life with us. I really enjoy your sense of humour; and your contributions to the Caption Contests therefore are delightful to read! I had a good laugh at your Windermere story. It has been so nice getting to know the person behind the captions.
Hope you have an awesome-sauce day... with extra sauce on the side.

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it! :love

I always get a bit disappointed when a Canadian doesn't have Chanteclers! Best breed ever. Welcome anyway. 🤣
But I do now!!! I have three, two pullets and a cockerel. I actually got six fro a local hatchery with five ending up male, and I got a dozen hatching eggs at auction but only two hatched, a male and a female. Hope to get more out of them this Spring!

And yes, one of the reasons I have them is they are a Canadian breed, the other being that they are endangered.
