Calcium, roosters, and mash mixing--help?

So how do you give your girls the calcium while not overloading your boys? Do they self select?
Put a side dish of oyster shell or calcium supplement, they will take it if they think they need it.
I’ve got a Roo that, when I put the oyster shell out, will consistently scratch the bowl and dump it. He’s a jerk to the ladies and I’m guessing if he don’t want it then they can’t have it

That’s funny. So I now have two feeders next to each other. One with the calcium and the other with just the grit. They can do as they please. The girls are about two weeks away from the possibility of laying so wanted to get the calcium out.
