Yeah, I don't want any sort of "smart" or ever "marginally intelligent" car. If they can sense when to slow and they have all those bells and whistles someone could just go and hack it and wipe you out if they really wanted to.

Your dad's truck probably knows because he told it, or he hooked his phone up to it and the phone told it. GPS in and of itself isn't bad, it's bad when it's used to track you and send the data off to China or whoever on earth is collecting it.

I agree. The auto speed things are creepy.

Cybertrucks are also known for faulty "Full Self Driving" as people have experienced them going in the wrong lane and the such.

It's not even the hacking that bothers me. It's the principle of having privacy and being able to repair it.

Sadly even our 2002 minivan has a compute module for certain things in it and it's malfunctioned big time before. It stinks you can't find a nice dumb car.

Only sports car I've been on is one my Fiancé rented last time he visited me. It was just a Mustang, but we had our fun. Kicked out the rear end, hit 120mph, even caught some air over a hill. Transmission hated us.

Yeah, that too. So many gadgets they can't function right and they won't last long.

You rlly think my grandma can figure out how to work that? She uses Siri to do stuff on her phone bc she doesn’t understand how to use it otherwise my Grampa is even worse he needed a iPhone for his job but he’s had the same one for 8 years now. And he still can’t type on a computer.
