I never knew about the blacklight trick. Thanks for that.I've picked about 70 tomato horn worms in the past 2 weeks. 9 tonight. The blacklight is a wonder, but this is getting ridiculous.
They do look almost the same, a tobacco horn worm has a red horn and the tomato horn worm has a blue horn. There's some differences in the stripes but the horn is the easy way to tell. They both eat tobacco and tomatoes.Maybe that’s what they are here too and I’ve always just called them by the wrong name.

Good move on getting her out of harm's way.Lucy has the green apple trots the last couple of days and today I noticed flies bugging her so I washed her back side off and the flies still were bugging her. Not wanting to deal with fly strike again I put Lucy in a kennel in the Florida room which is screened in and that's keeping the flies away. Does anyone know anything I can do to help her with the diarrhea?
