We got 2 1/2" of rain yesterday and it rained all day and into the night. The radar screen was totally covered with green and yellow.

How did you guys make out?

Same here. We were on the edge. It was dry all day about 30 miles to the west. Sometimes the dry zone was even closer. The circular pattern was mostly in Illinois but the main portion kept swirling closer and closer. Starting about 4 AM, we never had a dry moment till near midnight.

Me too. Amazing. I think we're in for a cooldown though. The dry conditions haven't been a problem for me either. I don't think I'm getting rain before Saturday.

We're supposed to get a hard freeze tonight. I picked my garden down. Got about 40 lbs of tomatoes in various stages of ripening, a handful of bell peppers and some jalapeños.

We got to see some great auroras last week too!
