I got 2 females and 1 male this spring. They seem to be the friendliest and smartest of all the ones we got.
Dipper looks like a Barred Rock or Dominique to me, not sure m/f. I would wait and see. I'm not too familiar yet with either of those breeds, yet. lol
Cockadoodledoo, that's definitely a roo! May I ask if you know what breed? He is handsome!
He's supposed to be a rhode island red. And we do love him! He's pretty sweet so far!
I know! And Mabel is such a character! That's why I wanted people to give me their thoughts, lol! Rouge and Mabel pretty much run the coop. I can post other pics, too!

That would've been my guess too, but I wasn't for sure. Be sure to work a lot with your roosters, handling them and so forth. That way when he is an adult, he will be much easier to take care of, should the need ever arise.
