I've been seeing a few lizards here and there. I'm not sure what kind they are or anything...sometimes a green one, sometimes a grayish looking one (or they're using that camouflaging technique they have or something). Anyway, I was wondering if you can feed them to the chickens. I know I've heard some are poisonous or something so I wanted to check.

Thanks in advance.

My 3 sons catch lizards all the time and feed them to the chicks.
They love them. Usually the chicken that catches it first is not the one that eats it.

You should see what mine did with a toad that was in the wrong place at the wrong time. One had it by the front leg and the other had it by the hind leg. I hadn't realized how much a toad would stretch!

I use a small bamboo stick to kill/stun the lizards in my yard. Then feed them to my chickens! They love them!

I dont carch the lizards, because tgey eat bugs. But my cats catch them to play with them until they die or are injured. Then i feedto my chickens. Usually the firs chicken to grab it will carry it around smacking it on the ground for a while, then another will play tugof war and get it. I have seen my 8 week old swallow it whole!
