Best place to get flea, tick, and heartworm meds for your dogs and cats is www.petshed.com, IMO. Prices, even with shipping is much cheaper than any vet and you don't need a scrip.

FWIW, even with flea and tick meds, I still find them on rare occasions on my dogs/cats. The occasional flea or tick is not an infestation. If you have an infestation of fleas, you'll know it!

I did find more on my dog then I have ever seen in 6yrs. The cat looks ok but the ducks seem to scratch/groom consistently. I tried skittle apple cider vinegar in their small bathtubs and put them in the bigger pool so they could get all their back and belly,..took a nice walk with Shorty. But I can't really treat the yard since they play and eat in the grass so what do I do for the outside? I have washed everything inside possible,..

Mine get the monthly too, but sometimes it doesn't seem to last a month. What medications are you using?
