Can ducks eat shrimp?

Random question but y'all know my biggest concern is my ducks health. I was given a bag of cooked peeled shrimp for my ducks, but they're 3 months out of date. They are frozen and have been the entire time-
Is that risky, or would it be safe to give them as a treat? I've heard a few sources say shrimp is safe.
Just so wasteful otherwise. But not worth it if its likely to be a problem, the use buy date makes me think I should just bin them.

My chickens go nuts just for the shells and tails. Check for freshness (but they should still be good) and mind your fingers when you give them to them xD

This is going to trail a little bit off the main topic but what about aquarium shrimp? Could I give these to my ducklings as a protein snack for feather development?

Yep! Ducks will rip your fingers off if you are not careful when feeding lol

Okay, I'll make sure they seem fresh before feeding to be extra safe
One more kinda dumb question, as someone who knows nothing about eating shrimp, since they're precooked do I just defrost and give to them, or do I cook them still?

If they're precooked then they are already cooked and only need defrosting

Agree with @FrostRanger. That said, when I had a packet that fit very elderly in the freezer I boiled them for a few minutes ‘just in case’.
