They have been indoors with no added heat for a few weeks now. They are fully feathered. 2 australorps, 2 barred rock, and 2 easter eggers. They have been outside all day today in the 40s and 50s
It seems it will get as low as 27 tonight though in Mississippi. They have a coop with wood chips to go in. I will put them in it when it's dark.
Do I need to bring them back in? Please say no lol

You could have put them outside weeks ago, they'll be much happier in their new more spacious coop!
I didn't have space for them as my rooster was separated from my flock in my grow out pen. BUT he's back in the regular coop now. I put them outside all day today but I was worried to just throw them in there on such a cold night. Do I need to put their heat plate or anything in there?

I think a project you might want to look into for the future though is an in coop brooder. As long as they have a heat source when they're really young, you can have them outside in the coop from day one. Assuming it's a separate part of your main coop it trivializes integration too

Just an idea for a future project :D

I love having them inside. I snuggle them nightly lol. But I grow tired about 6 weeks. I lasted to 12 weeks with the first set, 10 with the second but they were spring and summer chickens. This winter stuff for babies is new to me.

I'm sure my husband would appreciate your idea lol. We have a brooder plate. My husband said we could run a cord of weight needed to for them.
