Can old english game bantams tolerate cold weather

How far below 30°F?

☝️ This!

I've found that my OEGBs are less cold tolerant than my larger breeds, specifically the OEGB hens. Size is probably a contributing factor, as these girls are absolutely eensy at one pound, max, while the boys weigh up to a pound and a half, maybe a hint more than that at most. My girls start to act unwell when we hit the lower teens to upper single digits, Fahrenheit. The boys have taken into the single digits and negatives just fine, though I don't think they would tolerate deep negatives very well. Just my personal experience with the breed.

I don't generally use a heater. I dont even use hay unless it gets really cold. All my chickens just huddle up on the roost. I live in KS. Winters here generally dip down to 25 at the coldest. Sometimes warmer, sometimes colder. It's not uncommon for it to get to 15 degrees on some nights. This last winter it got down in the negatives. But it generally doesn't get down past 10 degrees here.
