This is comforting to read. I have had 5 roosters dropped off without warning. Which brought my number of roosters to 7 total. But my oldest and main rooster only cares for one out of 18 of my hens and only one other rooster is close to breeding age. The rest are babies still. But all seems to get along. I've been worried because of reading online about number ratios. But like I said. Seeing your reply helps make me feel better. Because I've even got a game rooster who doesn't bother any of my flock. Just runs with my younger hens. Thank youI have quite a few roosters and have not had a problem with them bloodying the hens... In fact when a roo goes for another roos hen, they chase them away before anything happens. I have a very happy flock even having a large number of roos.
