We buy a lot of sweet mini peppers and I love them, but I don't eat the tops of them or the seeds so I was wondering if I could toss them to my chickens. The peppers also have lots of vitamin A and C in there so I was thinking it would be a good idea. ^^

I feed pepers to my girls all the time:) They LOVE them esp the seeds from green and other bell type peppers:) I do have a few girls that stick there beeks in the air when peppers are tossed into the run.. Personal preferance I suppose. As with anything as long as you dont over feed peppers to them then its a great addition.

The only warning I was ever given regarding peppers was not to feed a "hot" variety since it can "burn" going in and coming out.. That made sense to me because well thats why I dont like to eat Hot peppers myself :)
