It will be red/raw looking but there should not be bleeding.

A red blob is fine, that should be the left over of the umbilicus.

Ok, I don't currently have baby chick food but I do have tiny size chick food until this evening. Is that ok?

If it's chick feed its fine. If you mean egg layer feed, you might be better off just waiting. A chick can survive off it's yolk that it absorbed for 24-48 hours. It should be fine until you can get proper feed in the morning
