Not only can you ride, but here in Chandler Arizona they have an Ostrich Festival with ostrich races and each ostrich has a jockey. It's very comical, as the ostriches have minds of their own and do not go where the jockeys would like.

I've seen an ostrich versus zebra race, in which all of the ostriches and zebras had jockeys! Now that was hilarity and chaos at its finest.

I can't remember who won...

I wish I could get an ostrich and ride it everywhere. I would be the most stylish and awesome person ever.
