Can you spot the six chickens on the wood pile?

Do you really think it's a boy? I am not entirely sure of the sexes. The setup at TSC where I got them was kind of unorganized and while I thought we picked from the females who knows.
I think those are all female. The combs are small and they are pretty rotund. Some breeds like Easter egger the combs are small on males too, but I don't think this is the case.
 
I think the use of the word Cockerel confused things a bit. Like using "colt" to describe any young horse. It seems nice to have a mix of breeds.
 
Oh my, the one on the left looks just like my Ameraucana/wellsummer mix named Barbara Ann! Such beautiful colors I think. They are all wonderful! :D

Yes, cockerel always means boy. It is quite confusing if people refer to a chick as a cockerel but don’t think it’s a boy.

Barbara Ann is beautiful and looks so much like mine. She is so bold and definitely the leader of the pack!
