Yes I did log out I had to punch in my username and Password and login and my computer screen was black. I did reboot everything.

Interesting because You haven't logged out at all and in order to reboot you would have had to have logged out.

Yes I went through all those steps and did it again about 45 minutes ago and it said the same thing - that Google Chrome is up to date.
