Cere fell off?

Hi, one of my polish crested gal's lost her Cere. Not sure how or when, she's really lazy and sleep but otherwise ok. She eats and drinks just fine. Will it grow back? Is there anything I can do for her?

The cere will usually grow back. If there is open flesh, I would put some triple antibiotic ointment or betadine on it.

Thank you so much! This makes me feel better. She’s inside to keep it clean and dry. Should I worry about ointment or betadine getting in her nostrils?

If you use a Q-tip to dab either on her, it shouldn't. If using the ointment, just go real thin, not a glob.
