Chaotic hatching

Sharing my adorable chicks as they hatch. So far I have 7 chaos babies that hatched in odd pairs because I found hidden fertile eggs and couldn't stand them dying after developing so much. I now am in lockdown for my intentional birds.

My current mature flocks contain
Polish -3 roosters,3 hens (only one roo in with the ladies DW)
Welsummer -rooster
BSL-hen
Easter eggers -2 hens
Cream legbar -2 hens
Red jungle fowl -hen
Silkies -5 roosters -20 hens
Not including chicks/hatching eggs.

Knuckles March 16 a BSL crossed with with polish or welsummer. My BSL hen broke out of her run and into the polish one for a while so I can't be sure who fathered any of her eggs.

Tails March 13 Another BSL mystery mix and Bingo a Silkie who hatched together. If it's not apparent that a toddler is in charge of naming, it will be soon. My nephew has strong opinions on chicken names.

Shadow Bsl mix March 12 she hatched alone but was immediately accepted by the genpop chick group so she wasn't lonely. We hang out a lot and she's the sweet baby. One of my all-time favorites.

Tilly Feb28 Silkie I need to take more pictures of her but she is very shy and really only like my other silkie bandit.

My first hatchident and spiciest child Bandit Feb 26 Silkie and I believe a rooster. He's already getting teenage scruffs. I'll update these with growth pictures as I take them. Will add new posts for my current brood.

Pips in the incubator!!! There are two BSL eggs two Hawaiian eggs and either an Easter egger or cream legbar. My ladies eggs are soooooo similar in color.
