For those who don't like Easter do you know the other roots of the holiday that arn't Christian?

I celebrate Ostara, Ostara marks the spring equinox, when day and night are equal and balanced. A lot of christian holidays are tacked on original pagan holidays. They did this because it was easier to convert the locals through this.

I did a paper on cults in high school. I came to the same conclusion.

My MIL lives with us she's a hard core Catholic and my Hubs is always getting on her about her "cult" lol I just giggle we make one liners from exorcist movies she doesn't appreciate lol

Ok 1st off she's a mooch 2nd she tells my 17 yr old she's going to hell because she's gay so she can pound salt as far as I'm concerned. So much for "love thy neighbor " blah blah
