Hey guys!
I was wanting to hear some of your Ideas on how to get a cheap Eglu Cube. I have wanted one for a while but is way out of the budget. Please let me know if y'all have any ideas.
Thanks, Ellie :)

I think it's a forlorn hope. Those who have invested in one either keep chickens so it's not available, or lose their flock/change their mind about keeping chickens, and then want to recoup their very considerable investment, so charge high prices even for a used one.

Please let us know if you figure anything out--we're in the same boat! My 11-year-old wants the Cube for her birthday, but I just missed the March "sale," such as it was. It's just such a huge investment, and we can't get it without the run due to predators and neighbor dogs etc, but since we might be moving soon I hesitate to shell out over $1,000... I spent ages googling it trying to find some deals, but no luck. Hope to hear some good leads from others out there!

I have not found one yet but you can find some used eglu classics on online thrift stores like ebay. I have one and it has been great!

Has anyone ever seen Omlet Eglu Cubes ever go on sale?? I'm located in the US.....I have been checking back at the website for over a year and there has never been any discount :(

Have you signed up for their newsletter? They did have a code to get 10% off the cube in their newsletter in feb 21. Maybe only in Australia? I know it is not a lot but that is how i got mine and i love it. I also purchased the walk in cats run which at the time was exactly the same as the chicken run but was over $100 cheaper. Worth keeping an eye on in case they have a 'cat' sale.

keep checkin on Facebook Market place. Don’t give up! I’ve been wanting one for at least 5 years, but just couldn’t convince my husband. about a month ago we had just picked up our Amish made coop and I had gone inside to look up chicken runs on FB Market place. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I seen a Omlet Cube Large with the run posted for $50. Yes, that’s right $50.00 !! The post had only been up for ten minutes and I was for sure I was too late. The lady responded and said it was still available! My nerves were shot waiting for her response cause one, the price and two, it was only about a 40 minute drive from my house! let’s just say hubby wasn’t too happy and thought I was crazy for wanting two coops! Never mind him, I was on cloud nine.
fast forward to getting the coop home. ~ It needed a good scrubbing, but honestly I didn’t care. It’s a little sun faded but from reading posts from other Omlet owners that this can be common and read that some noticed it after a few yrs. The original water bowl had had been discarded due to water freezing and cracked it. The lady gave me a heated waterer that normally retails for $80 along with a new bag of shavings and some bag to add to coop to help keep smell down.

after shopping around for months (getting a few hens this spring) I am gonna do it! The big coop with the tractor and 9ft run will be great for times when they cant free range. The coop is insulated and waterproof. The cage is top notch and portable to boot. Cant say that it is a pretty coop, but definately maintaince free and practical! I need to be able to move mine around to mow etc and then move it into the garage when we have negative degree cold spells. (NW Indiana) You can easily clean it with the garden hose.
