Do predator aprons work for rats? Rats are kind of the main thing we have here - there are raccoons and what not, but inner city the rats outnumber everything else…

I don't have a predator apron so I can't say for sure, but I would think it would deter rats as the rats we have here dig their holes right next the structures.

Yes as long as the fencing above is also rat proof (basically all gaps larger than 1/2" are covered). For example I have an apron so rats don't dig in, but my fencing is chain link with hardware cloth the bottom few feet, so rats can still climb or jump up and get through the holes.
