We had a random tree sprout up in our yard a year ago and it’s grown fast! It’s growing right next to our chicken coop/run. We’re not positive on what it is but someone thinks it’s a Cherrychoke tree? I tried looking it up and maybe it’s an Amur Cherrychoke? I’ve attached pictures. I read that the cherry pits can be lethal for chickens but I’ve also read birds love these trees. Does anyone have any insight? Should we be taking down the tree? I wish it had popped up in another location! Thanks!
