Thank you for the kind words. This was our first chicken ever. My son's art teacher gave him a couple eggs, and I got a small incubator for them. He was the first and only to hatch. I was whistling to him when he was peeping in the egg, and he would look for me when I whistled once he was out. Taught him to eat and drink. We are very sad he is gone. He tried so very hard.
