Chick hatched with Open navel yolk-sack like

Please help me out today was the day of

hatching 21th day and the first chick hatched (i helped a bit) with huge open navel with sack like york, it seems he is ok but from the navel the yolk-sac like thing worries me..... Please help

Sorry, I have heen out very sick...

That is definitely yolk sac... keep separated from the other chicks, and off wire completely... a soft kitchen towel in the bator works great for me, leave it in there til it absorbs the yolk, may take a day or 2... no worries about food/water til it absorbs...

I'd also pat the yolk down with a gentle antiseptic solution such as an iodine dilute to prevent infection.

This usually means the chicks hatched a bit too early this happened to me a while back and i let it rest by itself and did exactly what @Ravynscroft said and now she's going great and is very healthy and happy!

Fingers crossed, it *should* be fine... you just don't want the sac to rupture, that's almost always a sure bad end...
